Bawa, Cameroon, West Africa | The village-life experience is repeated across the African continent and around the world: Bawa, in northeastern Cameroon is a happy place, filled with rich indigenous culture and life, however sickness hampers the ability for this mountain village to prosper.  There is no doubt that western aid helps, but our experience tells us that our friends here want to find a way to do it on their own. And they will someday.  But until then, the aid needs to continue. Our website will allow visitors to learn more about Bawa and then learn about ways to Empower a Village.
